My line sister was going on a little vacation with her parents to Lake Tahoe, Reno, and San Francisco and I asked to hop along and do the trip with them.
From Reno to San Francisco is such a beautiful drive…. the scenery is spectacular. Photos don’t do it any justice! It is all in the photogenic memories of my mind.
The one place that was fun and exciting to see was Nappa Valley. Driving miles and on a road where both sides having acres of wine trees is beautiful. The best part to actually stop and touch the grapes. I don know if it’s illegal to go to an actually grab a grape and taste it, but I did it!
Most of the wineries that you will encounter in Nappa Valley will require you to pay a fee to go inside their winery and taste their products. It’s a lovely trip where you can just do the winery hop. Just go from winery to winery tasting wines and don’t forget to eat! There should be a designated driver! This trip can be pricey just for hopping from winery to winery and accommodations in the area not cheap!
