Nashville, Tennesee

On a cold February, we decided to head out and check out the state of Tennessee. We decided to venture to Nashville, Tennessee, where it is known for its famous Honky Tonk Central. Known for its vibrant nightlife Honky Tonk is a long strip of bars, restaurants, museums, and shops in downtown Nashville, Tennessee.

Honky Tonk

Arriving at night time, we stepped into the Honky Tonk area, where we were delighted to see bright lights and the sound of music everywhere we walked. This place reminded me a little of the Las Vegas Strip, but the energy was different. From young people to families, and live music made the atmosphere fun. We decided to go bar hopping and everywhere we went, there was live music playing. All the artists playing at the bars were talented, and country music was their specialty! This place is for the young at heart, and if you are a country music fan, you will not be disappointed. Every bar had its bands playing and the crowd singing along with the band. Happiness, excitement, celebrations, and drunkness, maybe that was the unusual energy that was being transmitted all around the area.

The next morning we arrived during the day to grab some morning brunch, and as early as noon, music was playing live in many of the restaurants on the area. We had some brunch while we listened to live music, and the food in the restaurants did not disappoint. We went to different restaurants where I don’t remember their names, but the food was delicious everywhere we eat.

In Nashville, you have to try on some boots! You cant come to Nashville and not visit any of their famous boot shops in town. In Honky Tonk, there are plenty of stores that offer various boots, which can range in prices from the hundreds to thousands of dollars. Apart from boots, you have to check out the variety of hats these stores carry. One of the best souvenirs you can take from Nashville is some boots and a hat!

Distilleries

Further away from Honky Tonk, you can find many distilleries to show you how the good old Tennessee Whiskey is made. You also get to try all the different whiskeys the distillery has to offer. Many distilleries offer their tours explaining how the whiskey is made, and even some places show you how they make their vodka.

Nashville has a lot to offer, and good music and a good time seemed always to be promising in this part of town. Bachelorette parties and other celebrations take place in this part of town, so if you are looking for a quick getaway with friends and family, this will be fun! Mostly if you are of drinking age. Don’t forget to tip the local artist during or at the end of their music sessions. Support the local artist!
